John FVerified Super place with a view Wonderful location. The food was great and good service. I recommend the Seafood chowder and a pint of Beachcomber IPA dave70800Verified Definitely recommend for drinks and food Loved this place as next to sea and took the stress out of not being able to watch champions league final. Not rushed for hours as we had drinks and then waited for food at 6pm.lovely staff definitely recommend jimboDerbyVerified Delicious tapas, excellent service Really enjoyed a Saturday night meal at the Met - thankfully we’d booked a table. We had four tapas as starters, followed by four more as a “main” course. All were delicious and substantial- 8 dishes in all were just right for a hungry two of us. The service by local young people was very efficient. There was also an excellent local guitarist/singer playing - he was quite loud, but so good we really enjoyed the music. Would recommend The Met. EllaVerified Stunning vibes and amazing food and cocktails Visited The Met in Ventnor for my birthday today and honestly couldn’t have picked a better spot. The vibe is absolutely stunning – gorgeous decor, relaxed but still feels special, and the kind of place you instantly want to stay a bit longer in. We went for tapas and everything was incredible. The pork belly bites were perfectly cooked, the chorizo in red wine was rich and full of flavour, the whipped feta was unreal, and the chilli garlic fries were addictive (definitely a must-order). Drinks were just as good – I had a rosé, an amaretto sour and a margarita, and all were spot on. What really made it though was the staff – so friendly and welcoming without being over the top, which just made the whole experience even better. Such a lovely place for a special occasion or just a really nice evening out. Will 100% be back 🤍 Gone TroppoVerified Great! Great coffee, great service, great location, well priced. Sophie BVerified AMAZING !!!! Amazing food, super friendly and accommodating staff, recommend to everyone!! katie bVerified Stunning food and Celiac friendly! Amazing food, lots of choice and really good seafood dishes like the seafood chowder and moules marinière which are a very generous portion! Also celiac safe! Steve JVerified Tapas, cocktails and coffees Primarily a tapas restaurant with European favourites (patatas bravas, brushetta, sauteed chorizo, lightly battered calamari) , it also offers filled baguettes, french onion soup, mixed salads and burgers. Alongside all the food options, there's a full pub range of beers, ciders, spirits, cocktails and shots. It was quiet on a Tuesday lunch time in February however the quality of the food kept us well fed & entertained. It's less great for picky-eating kids as beyond fries,a plain baguette and garlic bread there might not be much they'll eat. My son had their epic home made battered fish.Tripadvisor rating score: 4.6 of 5, based on 124 reviews
